Per request,  some pictures of the clutch hydraulic setup I've previously listed P/N's and prices for.

These are the best pictures I have at the moment.

Line is 36" -3 AN to 10mm straight banjo
Russel GM to AN fitting
Wilwood Universal 7/8 bore

Install and bleed from the top.

Here's a pic of mine with the McLeod 48" 4AN line with the built in GM fitting, I forget what the banjo fitting is

the one is the second link is what you will need. then purchase a line with a -3AN fitting

just pick up a line like the one posted by Allslownoshow if you want to retain the GM fitting
 
 
the only reason I would get a line without the GM fitting would be to reduce the chance of any restriction. I don't know how much restriciton, if any, the GM quick connect has, but I know that my solid line setup has performed flawlessly for the last few years.

If I remember right I think it was around $100 for the line and banjo fittings, I had a thread on the old forums about it from a few years ago. Speedway Motors sell the same thing now for less then what I paid.

Aaron-i just read the description on the second link.it states that it won't fit the throwout bearing? Any input on that? Any reason why it won't fit,it looks like the russell part

I didn't scroll down to see that. Looks like it fits the early stuff, and the later master. I don't know what the difference is, but for sure the Russel part fits the later master and slave, plus you a two pack for $20. So the next time you change a clutch and slave, just pop in the new fitting.
 
$100 is relatively steep compared to the $27 job, but if removing your line from the transmission is a must, looks like the best way to go. If I pull my trans, I always yank it with the engine (it's easier on my car) and just disconnect at the master with zero issues... just something to think about.

Thanks for posting the Pt. #'s, I got them all from Summit.  How do I remove the GM quick disconnect from the slave cylinder?  Do I just punch out the lock pin and pop it out?

Hey AHarada,let me know how you do it.I have to do mine as well.I was thinking I would have to drop the tranny and remove the locking pin.I'm gonna try and do that as soon as I receive the parts as well.

Did it tonight.  Punch out the locking pin, and the GM quick disconnect will slide out.  Insert the new fitting and replace the locking pin.  Very easy.
