Last week I installed my aluminum flywheel, Mcleod RXT, and new wilwood 5/8 master.
I previously had a tilton 7/8 bore but mcleod recommended I change it due to it over extending the pressure plate with 1" of rod movement.
I'm really happy with how the clutch pedal feels.
I wasn't happy with the turbo fitment after installing my fans. The turbo was too close to the belt and waterpump pulley.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago I decided to bolt my old 74mm setup on to get everything running for now so i can make it to rod run.
My plan was to put the 7675 on hold till next year when i have more time.
After bolting on my old kit, I found the cross over was way too close to the fan shroud.. and by close I mean practically touching..
So long story short, today I decide to make a new cross over and continue with the 7675 in roughly the same location as my old 74.
I still need to order a flex coupler to finish the driver's side. but im pretty happy with how everything fits. plenty of room for 4" intake, intercooler pipes, radiator hoses, fans, etc.
Theres room to put the wastegate next to the frame rail off the bottom of the merge next to the t4 flange.
some of it's still tacked, but all the final welding was back purged.
I'm anxious to have this thing back on the road.
