so i made a greeting card today..

All the other rotors
used to laugh and call him names
they never let poor pistons
play in any rotor games

then one christmas eve, santa came to say
piston swap with all your torquey might
wont you pull my sleigh tonight!?

then all the rotors loved him
"hes got torque and reliability"...
they hate to admit it but
the lsx is the best damned motor in history!!

enjoy =)

Hahaha, thats so perfect. Very creative. I still need to swoop by and see this reindeer. Just been busy lately, sourcing parts and working.

Car looks sweet man... nice reindeer impersonation!!! BTW I saw a vid on youtube of your car and an orange lsx swapped one. Seeing it made me all giddy to get my car done... any more vids like that? I love hearing people run the motor up, esp from the outside of the car. Props on all the car, it's sick.

Small cam, LTs, 3" to 3.5" exhaust, and a passenger headlight that will try to fly off at speed. lol... Watch the last 15seconds of the vid.
FC/FD plug and play wiring harnesses, LSx swap AC systems, LSx swap power steering lines.

hey all. i got an itch to spend a few bucks on the 7 last week, but with a wedding coming up, its not as easy as it use to be, lol. i went on ebay and found a strut bar for 35$, which the company is located local to me (city of industry) so i picked it up and saved the 15$ shipping.

fits great! well, kinda, it rests on the fuel rail covers. the inner most part of the fuel rail cover that sits perfectly flush with the intake makes contact to the intake, and after installing it i inspected the rails to make sure i didnt bend anything. i thought about trimming the cover a tad but really didnt need to. anyone see an issue with it touching?

fyi i have justins kit with those biscuit mounts, those mounts dont move the engine much if at all. if its a problem i suppose i can trim the U shaped bracket that mounts to the fuel rail for a bit more clearance. other than that, a pretty sweet 35$ well spent  :yay:

That looks sweet. Have a link to the vendor of the item? I haven't looked into these yet but will be picking one up.

Any more vids of the car? It's been sunny and warm lately in your part of town... good for traction  :drive:
