Not uncommon with Grant. Sometimes he ships quickly, sometimes he doesn't.
The good news is, that 99.99% of the time, you get your kit.

I called them to place an order 4pm on a friday. I ordered my T-56 mount, temp adapter, and sway bar kit Friday the 13th
got it yesterday. The only bad this is they charged me 3 times for one order. I called them back and they fixed the problem. no complaints from me.

Wow, I was just about to order a kit from them next week since they started the discounted prices. I'll definitely call them first to verify they have it ready to ship. Let us know how it goes!

Don't forget that Grannnys isn't the only option. A lot of people are having great success with the samberg stuff, The quality is top notch and his customer service has been unmatched. I vote to throw your biz his way. Just my $.02

i have used only grannys for years and i have always recieved my stuff rather quickly. dont fret you will get it. i was shorted some plates in my rear end kit. called him up and he said he would get them out and he did. true he can be slow but he is a only a one or two man show. Samburg makes great stuff as well i havent used his stuff, but have seen it and fit and function is good.

Several WEEKS? A fab shop? ROFLMAO. Start the posting when it gets over a month, unless he told you he had the parts there ready to ship.

I second this wholeheartedly. Justin Samberg supports this forum. I am an engineer and weld for a living, and I have also made a number of subframes myself but we don't do it on a production basis - I have seen Justin's parts and the workmanship, fit, and welding are far better than the brand G and brand H parts.

^^^ I agree Justin's products are very well designed and the craftsmanship and customer service is first rate!

I've been a Granny's supporter since the beginning, both my FD and FC were built with his parts. If I ever do another FD (which is certainly likely), I will be going with Samberg. It just seems that Samberg pays more attention to the details, such as bumpsteer... something I found out that Granny's has not even considered
.
To the OP: give Granny's some time, don't forget it's a custom fab buisiness. if something goes wrong, I am 45 minutes away from his shop and I can check out if something's up.

Well, he told me last night that he got a huge order in from one person and my kit was given to him instead...WTF!? I guess that means the more $ you spend the better service you get...

That sucks! You may want to consider pulling your order and getting a full refund and going with Samberg's kit.

When I ordered my cradle I was told it would ship at the end of the following week(called on Friday). Took 5 weeks exactly (recieved on a Friday).

Grannys pays attention to bumpsteer by advising you to use an LT1 and telling you if you choose an LS1, to go with the higher engine position, requiring a different hood. Their website is pretty explicit that you're on your own if you choose to run the lower engine.

Never had a problem with Granny's - I bought two kits and other misc stuff too. He always answers the phone, always calm to answer any question and even called me back a few times when he didn't resolve it right then and there.
I'm just saying we're talking about some small business here. One thing is guaranteed - you will get your stuff.
