OK

As I thought, there are no Reverse Lockout settings in HP Tuners. Looks like it's never been put in (this seems to be a recurring theme with HP Tuners. ::)) See this thread from 2004!! http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1784&highlight=lockout

On your PCM, Carl, I've disabled CAGS by setting Disable TPS to 0%, Min Coolant to 493 deg/f and the enable and disable speeds up to 249mph. This shouldn't affect reverse lockout but seeing the efi live screen with the Rev Lock in the same section as CAGS I'm wondering if disabling CAGS in HP Tuners also disables or otherwise alters the Rev Lock settings. Anyone altered these before and run into problems?
If you need me to I can bob over tomorrow and re-enable CAGS on your car, Carl, to see if it makes any difference.

Yeah I found that thread (and another) on the HP Tuners forum. Seems like somebody keeps losing their things to do list :D
Well, I am happy enough to just wire up some kind of switch for now and don't want to put you out on your Saturday Steve, unless you're particularly keen to find out what's going on yourself.
Thanks for the offer and thanks for looking into it too :)

No worries mate. I'm heading over to my car tomorrow and it shouldn't be too far from starting up. If I have the same problem I'll get to the bottom of it and then sort yours out with the same fix. How's that sound?

That sounds good to me  :)
Good luck with the car tomorrow!
