Thanks for the kind words. The more I mess with it the more I find wrong with it. My OCD is staqrting to kick in here.

Today I drove by the local military pawn shop (Ie. Soldiers who go broke and sell shit off) and said, meh, why not. Went in and picked up a POS pioneer that has USB capabilities since I only use an IPOD anywya it was the best $50 I could spend so far. I installed a new anntanea thingy and it sits about 12" over the roof line so now the car REALLY looks like a RC car.

Then I went to install the radio. a 10 minute radio swap turned into a "WTF kind of wiring, WTF WTF, SHIT FUCKING IDIOT, GODAMN KRIMP SHITS." 2 hours. Finally got it in and working but I found out why the rear speakers don't work (no wires). The guy had spliced into every imaginable thing possibkle and I shocked the shit out of myself when removing the cig lighter (which was the primary for the radio btw).

I realize the interior will need a full rewire as I assumed months ago.

Also I found a FULL sized factory spare. not a black wheel but the same as what is on the car. So I should make a pretty penny on a set of 5. On top of that, they are NOT the waffle wheels I thought they were they are extremely rare rotex or something like that.

Under the carpet is minimal rust but the craftmanship of the Japanese in the 70's isn't on par with what I prefer (ie. holes are't round but oval).

Tomorrow I will be picking up some decent speakers to get by until after the build so I can listen to SOMETH?ING other than VRAP VRAP POP!

picked up 4 6.5" infinity kappa series speakers for $50 on clearance to get it started. Went to install them and realized the kick panels are cardboard and were ruined from 30+ years of wet feet. So I went and picked up some wood tools (all my tools are lost in the divorce) and will be making new kickpanels out of MDF :) the rears were not bad, I just need spacers. Front need spacers too but not hard.

I put some 4 inchers in mine and my kick panels were in good shape still. It was kinda cool how the passenger side has the cut out for the hood release latch if it were right hand drive.

The good Taurus fan has 3 wires and 9 blades.  Easiest way to check which fan you have.  I've got an extra one for $75 shipped if you want it.
