Yeah, that was a short-lived idea, but funny on a <150hp car. They're putting a lot of time/effort into it, and are trying to conform to the rules. From what they're telling me, all the competitive cars are kind of ridiculous when it comes to the $$$ cap.

Us socaler's are fortunate to have guys like you around. I have yet to deal with your company. I'm going to need some tires for the 7 come summer time. I'm looking at some Hankook RS-3 in 255/35/18 and 285/35/18. Can you get me some pricing? or something that performs in that range. 
Thanks! Can definitely get good deals on Hankooks and RS3's are fantastic street tires. R888's would be a little more aggressive, but my Vette guys still get decent mileage out of them on the street (limited to heat cycles on the track for the most part).
