Is there a difference between the stamped and merged collectors with regards to performance? Or is the merged collector just more visually appealing ?

looking forward to you order

the two  ice breaker deal headers are all boxed up . but due to the new years  things have been halted on shipment due to sourcing boxes and packing material big enough to hold these babies in safely.  monday they will leave via FEDEX and tracking will be provided.

will not fit an automatic

merge collectors have a performance gain to them due to exhaust scavenging effects.  its not just a " show " item.
The purpose of merge collectors in conjunction with equal length runners is to use the scavenging effect. This effect is the process of each exhaust pulse that enters through the merge collector will end up creating X amount of vacuum behind it, which in effect pulls the next incoming exhaust pulse through the collector. This creates an effect which is continually making the exhaust velocity increase and engine RPM increases.

My Spoolin Performance headers came in today! The quality looks to be very good. I should have them fitted in a week or two once I get the engine back from the builder.
