I have 1 LS1/T56 core that needs to be rebuilt.  Should be available end of the month.  Need to order a few parts for it.

Can also turn it into an LT1 style box if someone needs that instead!

I have only 1 core that needs to be converted to an LS style.

If you are serious about buying one PM me and put down a deposit or it will be gone....

Thanks!

That core is heading out to the East Coast as a rebuilt transmission to JStrunk.

No cores in stock at this time; however I sell NEW T56 Magnum transmissions which are $800 more in cost than a rebuilt used Fbody T56.  The Magnum is a much better transmission overall.  If you would like to learn more about it please read the other thread which details the differences between the two.

Cores are getting harder and harder to find.  Soon your only real choice for fast turnaround will be the T56 Magnum.

The increased cost and modifications required place the Magnum too far out of my price range. Please send me a PM if you happen to find a core as I'm very interested in one of your rebuilt ones.

Your best bet is to place an ad on Craigslist saying you are looking for a blown up or needing rebuild LS1 style T56 for an Fbody.

Just don't do it in my area ;)

Just to update this thread....

Finding rebuildable cores is becoming very very hard and has been for most of 2015.  So I don't really offer these rebuilt units on any consistent basis.  If I have one I normally sell them local within a day or two.
The best option IMO is just to buy a new T56 Magnum from me if it's in your budget.

Finding a used trans that is 15 years old means it typically needs a rebuild.  Once you do that... you aren't far away from a new T56 Magnum that shifts smoother, holds more power, is simply a better transmission in every respect.  A rebuilt '93-06 T56 will never shift as nice as a T56 Magnum (TR6060).
