*Freshly rebuilt LS1 style T56* Stage2 with upgrades $2200
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:39:50 PM »
Freshly rebuilt by NorCal Auto Group with ZERO miles. $2200
Considered Stage2 by most transmission shops
LS1 style Fbody T56 '98-02
new steel 3/4 shift fork
new billet keys
new bronze fork pads 1-4
new carbon blocker rings
new synchros
new bearing kit (most places run your stock used high mileage bearings)
new seals
* any items that are worn are replaced.  ie sliders, gears, input shaft etc.
Includes Bellhousing and sensors
If you don't need the Bellhousing deduct $100
If you need BH to engine bolts add $10.

These transmissions are rated at 700hp in a 3500lb car   1yr/12K mile warranty.  No core required.
Core credit:
I will give $600 for rebuildable core* if you have one (must include BH).   Simply return it in the crate I ship the rebuilt one in and we will split shipping cost back.

Input shafts wear out easily and when excessively wobbly will break other parts inside..  Deduct $200 for wobbly/worn input shaft from the core credit or if the snout that goes into the back of the crankshaft has any scoring/marks on it.

I can ship to locations in the West thru the Midwest via a Forward Air trucking location for around $120 and another $30 to locations further East and the East Coast enclosed safely on a pallet/crate insured for $2500.  You pick up at terminal.  Can ship door to door for additional cost.
http://forwardair.com/locations/falocations.htm   Use upper blue map.
I prefer to NOT ship via UPS/Fedex due to their 150lb weight limits and sloppy freight handling.

ie  Total shipped to West Coast and as far as CO/TX would be $2320 and further east is $2350 as far as FL.

Finally driving my car, and the tranny I bought is nice and tight.  I will do my best to put it through the ringers.  But I do not forsee any issues in this department.  Mark let test drive a go pro!!!!

Just picked up 2 more cores to rebuild.  Anyone that wants a tranny with the upgrades the factory should've done, freshly rebuilt, here is a great option.

well just passed 2000 break in miles with a day on the dyno, a 152mph test run at a undisclosed location, one day at the drag strip, and about 2 months driving to work.  Zero issues with the tranny.  Changed the fluid and it was very clean.  Great investment!
