Does anyone bother with front grill mesh?

Just curious as the rad feels quite exposed. It seams strange to me that this didn't come with mesh from the factory.

I've thought about it. Looking at some higher quality hex mesh. I think it would be necessary for the radiator to be black for the mesh to not stand out too much.

Nope. And, yes, it is quite exposed. After a rock punctured my AC condenser in my Cayman, I put mesh grills on it. Haven't gotten around to doing it for the RX7.

I have a fine SS Meath that I painted black and attached to both my oil cooler and ac condenser to protect them.

I am planning on putting some maybe honeycomb mesh in my Feed front bumper and painting it black.

Both my 93 FDs are Daily Drivers and I've driven them like you would'nt believe.  All over North America.  And never an issue.

Yes, I've had radiator leaks but not because of not having the mesh.
