throttle cable
« on: August 09, 2020, 05:19:10 PM »
I have a LS, with a throttle body, in my 87 rx7 and am starting on the throttle cable. Should I look at a stock cable and possibly shorten it or is there a better after market option.
Thanks
Ed

The LS1 Camaro/Firebird cable is the one you want.  GM# 12565560.  Doesn't need to be shortened.

I like the Lokar F-body cable.  Works nice.

I used a junkyard one from a early 2000's impala, its super long. The firewall/ pedal fit like stock mazda, I just had to do a little fab work for the throttle body end mounting bracket.
