Looking at Holley Terminator EFI anyone running it
« on: May 12, 2020, 10:18:31 AM »
I have my car all apart and am going through my harnesses and seems like a good time to upgrade my engine harness/computer.  I was looking at the Holley Terminator X

https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/fuel_injection/terminator_x/terminator_x_and_x_max_ls_kits/terminator_x_ls_kits/parts/550-903

Does anyone have any experience with this?  I am planning on running air conditioning but haven't installed it yet.

A buddy works at a performance shop and said a lot of good things about it.  If the feature set fits your needs, it's a nice system.

The cost of a good stand alone harness is $400-$750 so for $250 more you have a learning ECU and a programmer plus the support of Holley.  I don't NEED this but it seems like it would be nice to have.  I just have a stock LS1 in the car right now but would be nice to not have to worry about tuning when upgrading.

I am using the Terminator X Max with DBW control. Everything works perfectly so far, you can read more about it in my build thread. If you have questions, feel free to post them or reach out via PM
