K swap FD
« on: January 28, 2020, 11:05:08 AM »
I ended up here because I made a post on a facebook group of my build and I got a plethora of hate and love towards it and a member from here tossed me a link and said I should join so here I am haha

I picked up as a completely stripped roller, I've been picking away making the list of needs shorter every month. I wanted to go rotary but decided to do a built K series swap instead. Going to be running a BMW trans, Z33 diff. I should be between 500-600 wheel when it's finished.

K20A2 bottom/ K24A2 head with K20 springs and 50 degree VCT
Wiseco Acura K20 K24 FLAT TOP 1.181X86.5MM
Manley RSX 2.0L V-Tech DOHC K20 H-Beam Con. Rods
ACL K20A2/K24A Standard Size. Performance Rod bearings
ACL Main Bearings K20/K24 Standard Size
ARP Head Studs
2004 S2000 Intake AP2
Garrett Gen30 770 V-Band Turbo
Custom NXT LVL manifold (Billet collector, 304 stainless.
If interested ask me as they are made to order)

BMW E46 Getrag (ZF is same bell housing but 1/2 inch difference in length and stronger.
Will be upgrading to this later)
PMC Adapter kit
havent decided on a clutch yet.
havent sorted out my shifter assembly yet but it will be stock location.

Z33 (350z/G35)
Custom hybrid axles (in the works)

Its been a bit of a project as i started with a gutted blank canvas and I have had great difficulty finding parts like doors and dash etc.

I saw this on FB didn't read it though.  FB is a bit of a dumpster fire with the RX7 rotary owners, they get butt hurt pretty easily.   Things are pretty relaxed on this forum.  GL with the build
