2013 Cadillac CTS-V sedan - Silver, Mint, Low Miles
« on: March 25, 2019, 04:38:35 PM »
I'm sad to see this car go, but I just don't use it enough and bought a truck. It has always been garage kept, all fluids swapped for synthetic, and oil changes done every 5000 miles regardless of what the computer says. It has never been taken to a racetrack or raced, and still has the factory powertrain warranty for a few more months. The car has not been tuned or modified beyond the aftermarket intake and mufflers. I get compliments on it everywhere I take it, and it runs, handles, and sounds amazing.

2013 CTS V silver sedan, supercharged 6.2L LSA engine, 556 HP. 6 speed auto with paddle shifters. 30,7XX total miles. The car has a clean title, has never been in a wreck or fender bender. Excellent overall condition.

The car has the following options and features:

6.2L supercharged V8
Black interior with optional Recaro heated and cooled front seats
Panoramic sunroof
Voice Navigation and Bluetooth
Backup Camera
Silver interior dash and door trim
Dual mode magnetic ride control (Sport mode and Touring mode)
Brembo 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brakes w/ 2 piece front rotors

It has the following upgrades:
Lowered with Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs
Forgestar CF5 forged wheels in 19X9 front and 19X10 rear finished in textured matte black
Airaid intake (stock intake also included with the car)
Corsa axleback exhaust system
Fender grilles and rear license plate trim painted body color from factory chrome
Badgeless front grill, upper and lower front grill and emblems painted matte black (stock front grille included with the car)
Full clear bra on all forward facing surfaces including rear view mirrors and headlights
Tinted windows and sunroof panel
Billet aluminum steering wheel shifter paddles (stock was just buttons on the back of the steering wheel)
Carbotech 1521 Bobcat brake pads all around

As of this moment the only thing wrong with it is that there is a crack in the windshield and it needs to be replaced. I will be doing that this week.

$42,000

Liking the truck deal so far.. 2018 F150 2wd with the twin turbo 3.5 V6 and the 10 speed. It can tow 13,200 lbs, but Iím not gonna try that. I will miss the Caddy when it sells though.

I agree, all the truck manufacturers are grossly overstating what their trucks can safely tow these days.
Sure, it might move it down the road, but what happens when your little 1/2 ton pickup has to maneuver or stop that load in an emergency???  :o

The ratings donít account for stupidity. To be fair these 1/2 ton truck chassis components are as robust as 15 year old 3/4 ton trucks with similar ratings. People complain about the cost of new trucks, but you are getting roughly the same capabilities out of a modern 1/2 ton that you got with a 3/4 ton in the mid 2000s.
