I have a 1986 fc with shine auto front and rear over fenders, I want to run 17x10 with a 275/40/17 tire in the rear and a 255/40/17 in the front I was hoping some one has done this combo before or could give me an idea what offset I should order between 17x10 +38 or +18

17x10+ 18

The +38 might need a spacer depending on your front suspension setup.

Shine +30s measure about +22 and have a dropped arch (assuming you're talking their Foresight knock offs).

My build thread has details but I ran those with a 255/40r17 front at one point.
LS2 stroker FC, Mandeville big brakes, widebody, etc

Thanks I didn't know that,

So would you recommend 17x10 +38 or +18, My thinking is a spacer can bring it out farther but nothing will push it in closer if it is to far out I am running extended studs just incase

What is your front suspension setup? How much camber do you run?

You can fit 255/40/17s under stock fenders. You will likely need a spacer with +38 simply to keep the wheel off the strut.

FWIW I am running 17x10.5 at a +19 offset under Shine fenders. Youd need 15-20mm of spacer on the +38 to get them near flush. Id get the +18.

I raised the fender radius back to stock on my front fenders, but I am running 275s up front.

I am running ksport coilovers but I do not have any idea on alignment yet as the car is mostly a shell, I do not wanna run to much camber maybe -1 degree up front because the car is not going to be a drift car mostly a street and sometimes the strip
