New to the car and powerplant.
Scored a '88 FC that had previously been ford granny swapped.  Figured a 5.3 would be a better option lol.
Plans are to strip it, build a QD front end (I am a welder/fabricator), and run a cammed 5.3, texasspeed 4l60 (both ronin mounted) with the possibility of a 8.8 ford diff in the future. Hoping to find all the info I need and more!

this is maybe a dumb question, but what is a QD front end?

QD quick disconnect.  I'm used to putting my A4 in service mode, so I'd like to build a front frame to house all of my rads that can be easily removed. Drift car style.
