ls1 throttle body relocation

Does anyone know of any aftermarket TB mounting plates to use to relocate the throttle body?

i've seen this hackass job on google images

and was hoping someone offered some simple plates so i can make my own with some simple aluminum bends.

Anyone seen anything like this before or will i need to make my own?

this is going in a truck so im not too worried about increasing the plenum volume at all

Not sure but keep in mind reversing the intake manifold could also be a partial solution :)

good call on the TB spacer path.
that sent me down to 4 bolt to 3 bolt adapters and vice versa.

along with maybe a pair of these

I really wanted to originally flip the manifold but that requires blowing a giant hole in the firewall and HVAC components on the inside so i gave up on that idea

I saw those adapters too, but wasn't sure if you were gonna go bigger throttle or not.  Good luck!

this seems to be a good path to go.
So far I haven't found any issues with this.

the distance from the filter to the MAF and the MAF to the TB is going to be short but I don't know if that will be an issue at all

That looks pretty comical.   Effective, but comical.

I'm not actually sure why in that picture the TB is being relocated. seems like there is enough room there. At WORST they could leave the TB in place and weld all that pipe to the end of the TB.

a silicone elbow wasn't tight enough to make it out of there without hitting the rad fans.

yup, welding to the TB would have been an option too, but distorting tubes that have a plate that seals-ish inside of it didn't seem like a great idea to me.
