1993 LS6/T56 Rx7 For sale
« on: November 18, 2018, 10:47:12 AM »
Hello all,  I have decided to sell my LS6/T56 swapped 1993 Rx7 that was my main daily driver for a while.  I live close to where I work so it didn't accumulate a lot of miles.  I have a 4 year old and 2 year old now and just don't get to drive the car anymore since I take them to daycare everyday and rarely go anywhere without my family on weekends.

I'm asking $22,000 and live in Bogart, GA.  Below is a summary of information on the car.

Please visit https://www.flickr.com/photos/drpopov/albums/72157675799923748 for more pictures of the car.

  • The build was done in early 2007, and was my daily driver for many years.  The car was very rarely driven in the rain since I did the swap and garage kept since Iíve had it.
  • Body has 141,746 miles on it
  • Brand new LS6 crate motor was installed in car with F-Body oil pan and accessories and has roughly 20K miles on it now
  • Rebuilt T56 6 speed with roughly 20K miles on it now (rebuilt by RPM Transmissions)
  • Engine tuned via HP Tuners and PLX Wideband
  • Hinson subframe/bumpsteer
  • Hinson performance transmission mount
  • Hinson stainless steel headers and Y-pipe.  Headers are wrapped in heat tape.
  • Aluminum driveshaft
  • Stainless Steel clutch line
  • Polyurethane engine and transmission mounts
  • Catalytic convertor going to 24Ē long stainless steel Magnaflow muffler--car is very quiet with a nice deep exhaust rumble
  • V-Band clamps on exhaust sections
  • Pro 5.0 shifter with Steeda Tri-Ax shifter arm
  • Rear end converted to the S4 Turbo II Rx7 clutch LSD with all new bearings, seals, and clutch plates.  Stock rubber mounts replaced with poly mounts.
  • Rear wheel bearings replaced (wasnít needed but did so anyway when I pulled the diff)
  • Samberg Radiator/intake
  • Samberg differential mount
  • Front mount power steering cooler
  • Power steering pump orifice modified to reduce pump pressure
  • Enkei RPF 1 17 X 9 wheels with near new condition Sumitomo 255/40ZR-17 SUMITOMO HTR Z III tires.  The car hooks up excellently with no wheel hop.
  • Megan racing trailing arms
  • All pillow balls and suspension related rubber replaced along with steering rack boots
  • Koni Yellow Sport shocks
  • Water and oil pressure gauges replaced with Autometer gauges in stock location
  • Dakota digital used to make stock speedometer work with PCM
  • New driverís side window switch
  • All interior plastic re-painted with Krylon Fusion black paint
  • Battery mounted in passenger side storage bin with new Optima Red Top battery
  • TT Supra fuel pump wired directly to battery (fused with PCM triggered relay) with Corvette FPR
  • New floor/trunk mats
  • Original paint
  • VIN: JM1FD3316P0210164
  • Note that the car has a salvage-rebuilt title because the engine and transmission were stolen out of it from the previous owner, not because of an accident.

Danny, any interior, engine or chassis pics?  Great written description, any working A/C or cruise?  I see a lot of these swaps without either working, is it difficult to get the computers to talk with each other?  GLWS  Mark

I have someone coming out the 18th to pick it up.  I'll post on here if that falls through for some reason.
