79 with a SBC *Budget Build*

Hey there everybody I'm here to document my build and I hope to recieve the award of Cheapest Build Ever. As cash is tight (very tight) on me I am keeping costs to a minimum. So here are the pictures of my build so far.

So it has a freshly rebuilt 350 small block and a fresh TH-350 with a little work done. it also has a chevy 10 bolt rear end and a hust pro-matic 2 ratchet shifter. as it was i paid 500 bucks for it which was later refunded to me for backing out of another deal we had going. so the car was 0.00
Now i needed to replace the front drivers side caliper. that costed me roughly 45.00 bucks i had to put 2 quarts of tranny fluid in it so another 7 dollars. so for 552.00 bucks i drove the car home.
Now i could leave it as it is but thats not my type so im gonna give a list of what i want/need to do.

Body work and Paint
french the center console and shifter bezel together.
fix rear end sway

I would love to see this progress.  I am getting started on my 83 this weekend.  I have a question, what is this "frenching" of the console you mentioned?  I am not familiar with the term.
