You'll probably want to stick to 255 on a 9.5" rim. If you go too wide the tire can shift a lot and ruin turn in feel. I have a 255 in the front on a 10" and it's pretty awesome for the street. I think the Yoko ado8r's are a little wide for a 255 so it does my wheels very well. If you are going for maximum contact patch in the rear you can go wider but the rear can feel a little unsettled entering a corner.

I'm running 245/40 on 17x8.5 +35 and 275/40 on 17x10 +40 Fiske wheels. I occasionally get rub in the rear, especially when carrying my linebacker sized son but rarely otherwise.

I just ordered a set of 275/40s to see if I could fit them upfront, as they should not be an issue in the rears.  Based off the test fit, the 275s shouldn't be an issue in the front. Kind of wish I would of gone with a lower offset in the rear, just a little to sunk in for my liking.

Looks nice. Are you going to run wheel arch liners?
