New rubber, the highlight of my day.

I've got 285 40's on there and I haven't liked the look of them due to the taller sidewall.

Those NT05's hook decent in the warm weather. I had a couple sets on my LS3 swapped FD.

They did until this  year, they have gotten hard all the sudden.  The car was down for a year and when I got it back on the road they slip all over even on warm days.  Kinda scary when you merge onto the highway in 3rd and the go up in smoke.  The main reason I didn't go back to them those is the tall sidewall in the 18" I just never liked the look of them.

Nice Toyo tires you have there. Got any feedback regarding its performance? I've been planning to get tires from Toyo tires when I avail a wheel and tire package soon. Though, I haven't decided what to get for replacement wheels. I'll look for more reference build before I finalize my decision.

I run the same size R88R on the back of my FC. They work pretty well in the dry. On the street, I can hook around 400wtq in 1st, 500wtq in 2nd and 600+wtq in 3rd. They are loud, though!

What's your wheel width and offset?  The way those sit looks sexy.

I can't find my pics of the offset, it's a 10" rim with a Supra offset.  I actually ordered them because they were 10rears and 9 fronts and back in the day every RX rim was 10 and 8's too much of a stagger for me.

I haven't used them in any autocross or track events but they are sticking surprisingly well in the straight line stuff.  If I do a pull outside of the neighborhood when I pull in to come home I can hear the rocks bouncing around in the wheel wells just like my 100 TW nittos used to do.

Anyone know of a decently sticky tire that doesn't go hard after a year?

The AD08R and Ventura RS4 have both gone kinda hard rather fast. If I really try to get heat into them they get sticky again but barely 1000 miles on them.

I'm guessing something like a pilot sport at 220 might be okay.
