The only real difference is that it has a 40T reluctor wheel.  There is no internal strength upgrade that I'm aware of.

I'm pushing over 1300rwhp thru a stock $2995 T56 Magnum and no issues.  I don't launch it hard.... yet.
'93 FD: 441ci/AllPro LS7 heads/intake en route, T56 Mag, 8.8" IRS, HolleyHP, DavisTechTC 10.32@137mph cats/full exhaust. 165mph 1/2 mile (old LS7)
