Not sure if I'm going to stick with the 36" or not.  When I got it on, it actually looked like it was almost exactly 6" too long.  I might just re-route it to take up the slack.

Got the alternator handled.  Stock 1993 Volvo 940 alternator converted to 6-rib.

Stock alternator with pulley and nut removed:

Corvette pulley (Gates 37009P) and tool (Alternator Decoupler Pulley Service Kit 27275):

For reference, the Volvo alternator shaft is 17mm, the nut is 15/16".  The inner part of the shaft is 12-tooth.  The inner part of the Corvette pulley is 33-tooth.

Did some work at the Dallas Makerspace last night.  My first attempt at motor mounts.

On the plasma cutter:

Still have to clean them up, cut square tubing, weld, and maybe get plated (probably).

Pretty neat, I have a buddy with a plasma CNC table, I need to get him to make me some stuff.

No, that's one of the board members of the space.  He's often there.  I really love the Plasma CNC, but getting the old software we have to work with what I have is not simple.  We're still working on the workflow for that though.

I plan on having the files out there with Open Source Hardware licensing, I just haven't decided where to put it yet exactly.   :yay:

The same for my trans mount and the accessory drive parts.  I'm still thinking about the design for those while I'm working on these mounts.
