What sort of clearance are people getting between the box and the old mount in the tunnel. I have about 5mm probably.

I fucked up i installed the plates upside down. The small bolt is on the top of the trans mount.... No wonder i was havin such a hard time.... Im an idiot. I used the mount to measure the holes but wheni p put the plates i put them upside down. Ughhh thats what i get for doing things in a rush under the rain.

Besides that the trans mount wont clear early hinson tq arm mount on the trans. grinding of the metal plate is required otherwise its straight forward.

Which aftermarket polyurethane mount is recommended to achieve the 5.50" output shaft to top of tunnel measurement ? Are transmission mounts sold separately ?
My poly mount center bolt stripped out and I'm tired of this heavy granny's mount, I want room for exhaust.
