Stock RX8 final drive is 4.44. I was curious what diff would be necessary? A Ford 8.8? That stock diff would definately have to be changed from a ratio stand point haha. I know the rear diff is fairly strong but I seriously doubt it will last too too long with more then 4 times the stock torque.

We have scheduled time in a few weeks to build the Cobra IRS conversion kit for the FD and the RX8. We will update you guys once that happens. Thanks.

There are two or three running already (not Hinsons).  Search around and you'll find info on them.

We have driven our car a decent amount. We're hunting down a new scope for the electronics side. I plan on working on pricing for these parts next week and early January. Our plan is to roll out the S2000 and RX8 equipment in January. All of our hard parts and exhaust have been fixtured, CNC reproduced, and ready for production.

I haven't had a chance to update our website, but I posted some new pictures of the S2000 on our Facebook page. I'll be putting up a video of it running as soon as time allows.

First time poster, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong forum.  I am an RX-8 owner and am eagerly awaiting the release of your LSx swap kit.  My RX-8 is an automatic with paddle shifters on the column.  Has any thought/dev been invested in keeping that type of setup in place, or has everything been toward the T-56 manual tranny?  If Hinson has no info on this, does anyone have inteligent comments on how to economically do this?

I dont think that could be done economically.  Just ditch the paddles and go with the T56

There's a guy on here, I forget who, that is running a paddle shifter set-up on his swapped auto FD.

Subscribed. Not sure if I'm better off tracking here or facebook.

Currently have an RX8 and a RX7 (FC3S), and hopefully a turnkey option is available. Still in deployment atm and I been saving up for something like this. If you guys do keep up with this, you'll be sure to get me as a customer.

We have driven our car a decent amount. We're hunting down a new scope for the electronics side.

Something that could be useful would be the Cobb Accessport. The Accessport is a reflash tuner for the RX8 computer. With the full tuner suite, you may be able to solve some of those electrical issues by modifying the programming on the ECU. There are a few guru tuners with this on the rx8club and they could be helpful. PM me if you want any more info.

Do you guys know if everything will work wiring-wise on a  series II rx-8 with the swap? I know the engine/ecu are all different, but both of those will be changed out in the swap. My main concern is with the wiring for the things in the gauge cluster so that everything works properly and has an OEM function as much as possible.
