I just did Dixon's car today I put 6oz of oil in it with 1.2lbs of 134.

Was that 6oz into a new (dry) compressor? I'm at that point now...

New system with new everything (except the evap core) and the question at hand is... how much oil goes in?

Thx in advance.

No that was a used one from his car.

a new one should come with the amount of oil you should use.

Not much different for hard parts.  Just the fittings on the compressor I believe.

Is it possible to use the AC compressor from my LS1 on my first gen? If so, next winter I will be buying lines off of you ;)

Are the custom lines w/o a core still available? I'd like to buy a set.

Pez - does your kit include the line from the F-body compressor? or do I need to save the lines from the camaro? I'm about to sell my chassy and just want to know before I send it off. Sent you a PM. Would like to order  :)  thanks

You need to save the lines off of the LS1 compressor. He will use those to build the new ones.

The only lines I have ever sent him were the FD lines going into the firewall. Greg uses a custom adapter for the back of the GM compressor.

You can use the stock a/c lines off a f body requires a little bending ,cant be in a rush and  take your time . and just change the ends and have them crimped on.Why are you all changing the condenser just use the stock one that came with the car.

Different condesnser because the inlet and outlet are on the same side, unlike stock.  Makes for a cleaner install.  And you have to make custom mounts for the stock one anyway.  New condensers are only like $80.
FC/FD plug and play wiring harnesses, LSx swap AC systems, LSx swap power steering lines.
