Pics and Videos / Took my Supra to a sketchy dragstrip...
« on: November 02, 2014, 09:51:10 PM »
After a long and crazy busy season, I was able to squeak out a chance to go up to a little bit of a sketchy dragstrip to get some seat time on the car before the winter rolls in and shuts everything down. (All the good local tracks are closed already)
There is definitely some improvement available in the first 330' and I can quicken up the shifts to drop some ET and pickup some MPH.
Here is a vid: http://youtu.be/wEzVazMCjto
Car details:
'95 Supra Turbo
original 6spd car
8.5:1 Compression Stock piston/Eagle rod
HKS 280 cams
Tilton 3 plate
ProEFI 128 tuned by Larry Prebis @ Sound Performance
Precision GT42-76mm Billet Comp wheel (NON CEA)
I dyno'd the car last time at 43lbs of boost and was having some issues at the track getting it to hit full boost (I got it closer, just need to tweak settings) and was only getting 36-38lbs, so I am guessing that's putting me around 950whp.
Sadly this track doesn't have 330', 1/8MPH, and 1000' on the time slip to help paint the full picture.
1.483 60'
6.422 1/8 ET
9.753 1/4 ET
150.85 MPH
