Picked up my Christmas gift today Dec. 20th .
« on: December 20, 2011, 11:26:37 PM »
Bah .... not really but it is a : From me to me kind of gift.

Plattsburgh N.Y today 4.00 PM :

7.00 PM My friend Daniel giving me a hand.

My girl friend was laughing at me because I was making this hole earlier this week.:

Slowly putting this together.

Made in China but still so far the big parts looks well made , will see with the quality of the pump but for the price and my specifications of my garage I didn't have much choices except one more ( the ..MAXJAX.. ) but I din't like the look of it.

I'll try to finish the installation later this week.

First time I buy from Greg Smith but so far I'm very happy with the service.

I'll need to ask them if they have touch up ( spray ) paint because the people who moved this around scratched it pretty bad but so far nothing missing or broken.

Don't worry on quality, Atlas is one of the best ones you can buy, shop or home.

I'll be building a garage in the spring... you made a nice choice sir.

I know I cannot lift the car so I can walk under it but I think I can lift almost 47" high and this will be 100% better then before with my floor jacks and stands .  :)

Greg Smith here in Indy has always treated me right.

If you do away with some of your xtra Storage you could raise it higher   :D

but make sure the garage door is down  :poke:

I bought the 9k lb atlas base plate lift this past summer, so far so good, has easilly paid for itself already.  anyone who has a garage that can fit a lift, should get one, they have gotten cheap enough to where it doesnt make sense not to.

I'm almost ready to do the 1st test.
My friend needs to wire the pump , I've done all the tubing , electric box , etc. for the electricity , I have finished all the cables for the lift including the release cable.
It's full of oil and ready to go.
Last thing to do is to adjust both side to make sure they lift exactly even and that's it I'll be ready to start my winter project on my FC .

Not much room left.... less then 3/4" of a inch.

All I need to do is adjust this cable ( both , right and left ) .

If everything is right next Monday it should be fonctionnal.
