Because somebody was too cheap to spring for a car intake.   ;)

Haha yeah its defiantly a budget build. Unfortunately sponsorship was running tight when we put it together. Kept the L33 intake, running a Mega squirt ECU, with Mustang ignition. But had no issues last season and put down 450+HP consistently all year. *knock on wood.

Frijolee- I have met you a few times, Im good friends with Steve, and Jamie.

Well, the truck intake flows about as well as the LS6, so it's certainly not a performance hindrance.   :)

Good Showing for us in the CXracing Rx7. Qualified 3rd, but got a tough match up agaisnt the very impressive Odi Bakchis in the first round. It was a sick battle, got into the wall abit pushing it hard, but didnt through us of line. Crowd went nuts.

Check out this Video of one of out practice laps.

I wish I could have made it down for XDC, I've been up in San Jose all week.  I heard the driving was great, and congrats to Chelsea for taking the win.

Which chassis is Kelvin using, the one that he replaced the top on?

No we got rid of the shell, when Formula D flipped over it. We had to start with a new shell early last season. Thats the shell we are still using.

You shoulda came down. Some great action going on. Chelsea is a machine. It was a great weekend. We are really looking foward to Pheonix next month.
