Just don't want to hook em up to the battery and burn the car down.

I believe those are the fan connectors

Hi guys, just on this the Pez harness already has one red wire that's labeled "FAN" but the two above are not tagged.

If the two plugs above are for fan's what's the other wire for?

Thanks in advance.

Those are fan connectors for a samberg fan, NOT battery connections.

If the red wire labeled 'FAN' is a like a 10-14 gauge wire and it leads to a screw down lug on that relay box in the background of your pic above, that would be the 12v input wire and must be hooked up to at least a 50A battery supply (best to connect straight to the battery or through a junction that goes straight to the battery).

Oh, glad I asked now. lol

To my understanding the thermo is controlled by the ECU in the factory LS1 powered vehicles but I don't recall seeing another wire in the PEZ loom labelled for the Fan (although there are 5 or 6 wires not labelled at all).

If there a wire for the thermo fan or do you usually just make up a loom the old fashioned way? (temp sensor/switch, relay etc).

Sorry for all the questions, but putting this loom in without any sort of instructions is starting to be very challenging!

The LS1 PCM gets its temperature feedback from the engine's coolant sensor. Once the first temp setpoint is reached your fans will turn on low speed, once the second temp setpoint is reached your fans will kick into high speed. No additional wiring is needed if Pez built the harness and you have his fan controller (which I'm sure you do since I can see it in the pic above).

Check out this thread:

I helped by answering a few questions related to a harness install. It may be of service.
