Samberg + Ronin = FD mounting kit awesome
« on: July 10, 2013, 02:40:12 AM »
Hi y'all,

Just thought you might be interested to know that Ronin has been collaborating with Justin Samberg to offer an even more complete version of Justin's epic FD LSx engine mounting kit.

The Samberg standard full kit (http://sambergperformance.com/product/lsx-mounting-kit/) comes in bare metal and still required you to track down your own pedestals, biscuit mounts, and powdercoating. Ronin has stepped in to supply all three.

Samberg's standard kit runs $1725.  But if you order through Ronin ($2069) the extra $344 gets you everything with truly one stop shopping.  Default powder coating will be black but we'll take custom requests on powdercoat colors for an extra $50.

It's now live on our website.
http://www.roninspeedworks.net/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=87

As an introductory offer, orders received during July will receive our version of the full kit for $1999!  We have 5 kits in stock including the red version shown so there's effectively no waiting either (an added bonus of shopping through us).

-Joel Payne (for the Ronin crew)

Nice work guys!  Will there be package deal options available for those that want to go with an 8.8 rear?

since there was some confusion about what the differences are between what we include vs. what Justin includes:

compare his picture here:

to our picture:

For the difference in price ($344)
you also get:
-Left and right motor mount stands (~$75x2)

-2 polyurethane motor mount isolators ($35)

-1 polyurethane transmission mount isolator ($30)

+powdercoat which would be valued at the remainder = $129

Most folks getting quotes on powdercoating usually pay between $400-500 to coat the entire Samberg kit, so we feel we offer excellent value for your money.  Not to mention we take the guesswork out of ordering from multiple vendors, and prevent you getting dinged on shipping each time.

Our kit just gets you everything at once, and saves you time/effort running around finding your own solutions.  Getting this stuff through Justin, or through us gets you the best stuff possible, just different packages.

We will be looking into different rear end offerings as our kit is closer to release.  so that will be in the works for those that want to use our 8.8 solution.

There is an added benefit;   supporting 2 of the best vendors in the V8 RX7 community.   That sounds cheesy, but I really do consider it a benefit.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!  Since we're ordering these though Justin in batches we're intending to keep stock on hand so there's little to no waiting.

Also, please be reminded that the introductory offer of $1999 ends July 31st, after that it'll shift to the go forward pricing of $2069.

Shipping is $95 within the 48 states.  It's the same as what Samberg charges but we have to use quite a bit more involved methods of packing to be sure parts can't chaff against one another once powder coated.

CA residents also have +8% sales tax, again, the same as with Samberg.
