« on: February 18, 2013, 05:19:19 PM »
car is sold. sad to see it go but glad its going to a good home with big plans.

Putting my baby up for adoption. (located in fitchburg ma 01420)

Some pictures show CCW classics that i have sold separately. I have most of the interior though about 1/2 of it is removed from the car. the leather on the seats is cracking from age. the car is located in fitchburg ma (01420) specs on the car  are:

Year: 1993
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7 touring
Mileage: ?
Color: silver on black
Transmission: Manual T-56
Engine: LS1

Clean title however the previous owner told me it 'hit a mailbox' which is why there were dents on the drivers door. i carfaxed it and it showed no accidents however i'm not sure i believe the mailbox story.  About 139K on chasis. Almost 50K on motor (Ls1) and trans (T-56).
99 LS1 coupled with a T-56 Trans. About 50K on both.
Hinson Super Cars mounting equipment
Hinson Super Cars aluminum driveshaft
Hinson Radiaor, fans, thermosat
Dikota Digital conversion speed-o box
LS6 intake manifold
SLP adjustable timing chain
32lb injectors

comp spring, pushrods and retainers
spec clutch & flywheel
new master and slave w/ remote bleeder
new  GM starter
ported ls6 oil pump
port and polished TB
Stock exhaust manifolds
160 t-stat
optima red top battery (relocated behind rear passenger, battery replaced this spring)
pro 5.0 shifter w/ tri axis shifter and cobra shift knob
Line lock
stock manifolds (later higher flow style)
2.5" piping with x pipe, dual resonators, and dual N1 mufflers
TTP custom HP tuners Dynojet 224x tune.
extra plastic interior pieces
Rear tires are 245 width drag radials 65% tread left
Front tires are newish 225 width all season Hankooks 90%+ tread left
New front windsheild and moldings
Stock rims painted flat black
VIS fuszion hood -
Hinson adjustable power steering (included, not installed)
koni yellows with <5k on them
eibach pro kit springs
aftermarket trailing arms and lateral links <5k on them

The car would make for a great track car or weekend warrior. Its loud and the heater core and AC are not installed.  (AC, heater core and blower fan are all included with sale of car).

the previous owner: put in
-GM starter
-New front windsheild and molding. old one was cracked and molding was bad. **rear window and pass window still have VIN# etched in**
-New Hankook tires up front. old ones were cracked
-The neutral saftey switch malfunctioned. That was replaced with new parts and re-wired correctly. Zero issues since.
-New Hinson radiator.

Asking $12,500. Hate to see it go, but don't have time to work on it/drive it. :unamused:

The spare ported heads and other spare parts could be negotiated into a package deal if desired.

a few things to note:
1. when i purchased it i was told that the car had hit a mailbox  which is why the dent is there. it carfaxed clean. as i've worked on it i've found evidence that it was repaired (hammering on floor under trunk, filler at drivers side fender, dent in rear drivers shock tower).
2. it runs and drives and is a blast. i've driven it to/from work on sunny days in the summer 80+ miles/2 hours round trip. however, it has been running a bit off on occasion lately. it may be due to lack of use as i only drove it about 7 times this year including a trip to my buddies house 2 streets over. compression comes back fine, plugs/oil/coolant look fine, but it is running a bit rich . cleaning the MAF did not alleviate it and it may need a retune.
3. its not a show car nor a daily driver. its a fun/quick weekend car that could use a bit of finishing work. i its a hell of a lot of car for what i'm asking, but i dont want you to come up thinking its immaculate. its 20 years old with 149,500 miles on the title (dash shows less as i replaced the cluster with one that had a working speedo.
4.It could use pads/rotors front and rear. mostly due to sitting as there is pad left but are old. the rotors have started to warp and 'pulse'.
5.the window regulators are on their way out- the windows move up/down very slowly.
6.the car has no radio/heat. the heater core is installed but the blower is not.
7.the wiring to the ECU could definitely be cleaned up a bit. its a bit of a rats nest. i had started going through it but have not had the time to finish it off.
