Description: Well, I am listing this car up for sale.  Pictures show below are current state, exactly as it sits (taken May 31, 2012).  I can take some more if you like, but nothing has changed.

I am putting this car up for sale because of the interest I saw that the other project that was listed up recently had.

I bought this car as an incomplete project and I have a ridiculous amount of money tied into it.  Something ... happened ... to me ... shortly after buying it, and, it is quite a shame.

I have everything needed (except exhaust) to fully complete the car, but I have lost all motivation.  Over the last 15 years, I have owned over 50 cars, and I used to be out in my garage messing with them all day and night (17 MR2s, 2 Supras, 4 RX7s, Turbo SC300, etc etc etc), and going to car cruises/meets/shows.  I haven't been to a car meet in at least 2 years now.  I don't know what has happened to me, but I am not the person I used to be.  I am currently seeing a doctor and on anti-depressants because I have lost all motivation toward pretty much everything in my whole life (including this project, of course) and my wife made me get help.  This car has been sitting for quite some time now, and I have not had a wrench on it since July 2011 because I simply don't feel like it anymore.  I have wanted to post it for sale for awhile, but I haven't even felt like typing this up or taking pictures.  It is difficult to explain my condition, but basically, I don't want to do anything anymore.  People ask me if I have worked on the car, and I reply and say "I am not even sure if it is still in my garage."

Fuel system is done, except wiring up the relay, I have a temporary wire run just to test the fuel, battery relocation is done (although there is a grounding issue that causes it to only crank sometimes, maybe need more/better ground, I really don't know, it will crank one out of ten tries, maybe), radiator setup is out of the car, but is Samberg V1 and I bought different fans for it, so it is ready to go in.  Wire harness is run and the basics are hooked up, but that is about it.

Off of the top of my head (may be not remembering everything) here is what is needed to finish ...

Sort intermittent grounding issue
Finish wiring (and electronics)
Replace spark plugs (I have brand new ones)
Install fans to Samberg Radiator
Install cooling system
Install oil pressure, water temp gauges
Reinstall interior
Put in fluids, bleed systems

I am certain there are other things, but no major stuff, I don't think.
I have HP Tuners Pro (all I did so far was disable VATS) and I have some boxes of unopened parts laying around because my laziness hit me while I was ordering things.  When I say unopened, I mean literally.  The fans I have for the radiator are still in the box they were shipped in last year.  I haven't even cut the tape on the box to see if there are fans in there, I am just assuming by the size of the box that they are the fans I ordered.  Same goes for the aluminum fuel rail covers, the thermal shift surround, new dash vents, etc etc etc.

It really is one weekend (maybe even one day for the right person) away from being a running vehicle, but I am just not the guy to do it anymore.

Here is a mod list, which .... I am sure I am forgetting some things, as I ordered stuff and it just sits around, unopened.

If someone pays my asking price, I will literally give you everything that I have for this car, including old rotary parts (oem twins, housings, manual tranny, etc), HP Tuners Pro (spent over $600 on this), 2 sets of fuel rail covers (one Corvette, one custom), 5x cooling fans, 2x brand new radiators, OEM FD wheels, 2x MAFs (one stock, one ported and de-screened), and whatever else I can find.

I want $12,000, and I assure you that I have way more than this invested.  If you sell the extra crap I have for it, you can probably recover at least $2k or more, in a hurry.

The car needs paint and minor body work, please see pictures.  Carfax is clean except minor guardrail accident in 1998 (I can provide carfax report).  Last mileage reported was 86k.  I don't know the current mileage, because the dash doesn't light up the odometer (haven't looked into this), but I don't expect it is much higher than this.

Swap came out of a wrecked Camaro.  Previous owner heard the motor run before he bought it.  I have heard the motor run when I started it.  It won't run more than a few seconds, but it fires up.

I am open to trade offers, trades + cash, and I can also put cash on top of the car for the right trade.  Money is a non-issue for me, so I am in no hurry at all to sell (plus my motivation towards selling is terrible, for all I care, it can sit for 20 years), so don't bother lowballing me, it is pointless.  If you have a trade offer and I turn it down, please don't be offended.  I have 5x cars right now, so a trade would have to either excite me or else be worthwhile for me to resell.

I would prefer a local sale so that the buyer can come and see what they are getting themselves into, but at the same time, if buyer takes care of shipping, then, please, come take it away.  Again, I think the car can be finished pretty quickly by the right person, but ... now that I have had it sitting here for 2 years, clearly I am not that person anymore.

Don't be afraid to contact me, worst I can say is "no" or else ignore you.
PM or email is fine. rotarykiller@gmail.com
If I don't reply to your email, then it went to my spam folder, sorry.

*edit* - clearly some of the interior is out of the car.  I have everything, including carpet.  Interior is in pretty good shape, even the seats.  I have 100% brand new OEM Mazda dash vents to replace the cracked ones that I paid around $100 for, still in package from shipping.

Additional info:
Car is a 1994 Base, hardtop. I bought an R1 front lip + rear wing for it (uninstalled).

Tires on front are 100% brand new, zero miles. Rear tires good shape - 80% tread or better.

I have the turn signal lenses, etc, for the front bumper cover.

Hood closes fine, is popped in first couple of pictures because that is how I leave it.

Passenger door also closes fine, but is partly open all the time (and in first couple pics, of course) because I have a Battery Tender hooked up to the battery at all times so the battery stays charged.

I have the full Samberg V1 cooling kit ready to put it, takes only a few minutes, I have already had it mounted, but then pulled it back out to put different fans on. The Howe Racing radiator that I have is brand new, and was part of a custom design that I was going to do and then bailed on.

The headers on the car are Hinson longtube 1 7/8" headers and are also brand new, zero miles.

If you want to buy the car without all of the extra stuff, and without the wheels and HPTuners, I am willing to negotiate significantly.  I have OEM wheels for it, I think the tires are junk, and the car can roll on the OEM wheels, but cannot be driven on them.  They rub up against something, I don't even remember what, I just know that when I had it towed to my house that I saw there was a problem, so I bought the Volks right away.  Wish my memory was better.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

I should also note that I am willing to pay if anyone wants to come and finish the car for me.  I have a healthy supply of tools, electronics, and beer.  If it was finished, I would keep it.

At this point, I would like to see if anyone is interested in buying.  Let me keep the extra parts, the HPTuners, and the Volk Wheels and I can easily negotiate the price under $10k.

I may take up an offer to finish the car ... so don't lose hope.  I am having a nice, cold beer right now, thinking about it. LOL

I have had quite a few interested parties, and I appreciate hearing from all of you.

As of right now, the car is pending sale.  I will update the thread when something happens.

Thanks again.
