Here are some pics of the shifter my Tremec Distributor makes. 

Shifter can be moved forward or backward up to 3.8".
Can go as far as 4.1" if you deviate to the left or right more than 1".

Hmmm, is there a different piece that you put on to get it to be positioned the max 4.1" rearward?   As pictured it looks like it would hit the tranny tunnel on a T56 Magnum.

I'm trying to get pricing and more particulars on the shifter I posted. 

My Tremec guy has been traveling and was in Iowa for a recent show/booth event put on by Tremec to talk to customers.
He is a busy guy and very innovative.  They have built a couple AWD T56 setups and he also rebuilds G50 Porsche transaxles, Ricardo Ford GT boxes, and other exotic stuff.

From the look of the side picture, it looks like the shifter can be offset left or right, but it sits even more forward than the OE Tremec shifter, we need to find a shifter that sits even more rearward from the actual shifter plate.

Something like the Sikky shifter without the $500 price tag.

Any updates Mark?  I've been flirting with T-56 Magnum as it's just plain better.  But, haven't really thought through all the issues yet.

When I fit it into my car, take comparison pictures, and have real facts I'll share them.  The last thing I'm going to order is the shifter.  The SIKKY product looks like a quality piece.

In my car with a Samberg subframe and quicktime bell housing I have 5 +/- 1/8th inches from the standard Tremec shift point to center of the FD shift hole.

You get the about the same Mark?

Pics!  So how well is the Sikky shifter going to work then?  Is it offset about the same as what you're measuring on the car?

Freshly rebuilt LS2 shortblock with LS3 heads/intake setup goes in the FD race car tmrw with T56 Magnum.  Will take pics and measurements then.  Running a Samberg engine and T56 trans mount on the car (plus 8.8" Cobra rear mount).
